Our Staff
Oxley Lodge actively seeks to attract and retain experienced care staff, all of whom shall undergo nationally recognised training in the form of NVQ levels 2 to 4. All staff also undergo regular training programmes, including all mandatory training, and are encouraged to do other courses e.g. Dementia Care, Palliative Care and many more.
Donna Aston is the Care Manager of Oxley Lodge and has full responsibility for the complete day-to-day running of the home. In addition, there is a dedicated management team who are able to assist in the running and management of the home. Every shift has the benefit of both care staff and senior shift leaders.
All staff employed by Oxley Lodge undergo a thorough induction training programme, with training continuing throughout their employment at the home. Staff personal training and achievements are readily available at Oxley Lodge. Training is conducted by an in-house training company and also by the management team.
We have a key-working system in place whereby all of our residents are appointed a member of staff who will cater to their personal needs.
All staff undergo DBS check and an enhanced police check by the Criminal Records Bureau.
