Oxley Lodge
Residential Care Home for the Elderly

Welcome to Oxley Lodge
Oxley Lodge is a Care Home in the Oxley area of Wolverhampton and is owned by Aplin Care homes Ltd. The Director and provider of the company is Mr Malcolm Aplin.
The home was purpose built as a Care Home and fully meets standards and guidelines on room sizes, door widths and corridor size, to enable use of disability aids and assistance of carers as and when required.
We are able to cater for a range of needs including dementia, wheel chair users, hearing and visual impairments and special dietary requirements.
We have 58 single rooms, which all have an en-suite toilet facility. All rooms exceed 15 square metres in floor area. Admission to the home is based upon assessments by the care manager and social worker, which covers their physical and mental requirements.
Each bedroom is equipped with a nurse call system for service users’ safety. All bedrooms are fitted with a smoke alarm. Every bedroom has an en-suite toilet with wash hand basin, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet and an easy chair for comfort. Most bedrooms have an open aspect onto the gardens.
Lounge/dining areas have been designed to create a homely atmosphere with residents’ comfort and safety in mind. There is a designated area available for residents who wish to smoke.
Oxley Lodge has an 8 person lift, giving access to first floor in the home.
